ROCHESTER GOSPEL TABERNACLE ~ 123 12th Street NW (1928 - 1932) ~ Pastors: Rev. Howard Bush & Miss Mary Chase
Founded in 1925 by a lay minister named Mrs. Tillie Washburn and her associate, Emma Geselle, Rochester Assembly began as a small home Bible study. After 2 years, they began tent meetings as the church grew in numbers. Finally, the first church building was secured in 1928
ROCHESTER GOSPEL TABERNACLE ~ 109 East Center Street (1932 - 1933) ~ Pastor: Rev. Alvin H. Ruehmann
As the church grew out of the Cement Block Laundry Building, a new place of worship was needed to accommodate the growing congregation. Rev. Ruehmann and his siter, MayBelle, originally came as evangelists and stayed to be Senior Pastor and Associate.
ROCHESTER ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH ~ 1705 Elton Hills Drive NW (1958 - 1979) ~ Pastor: Rev. O.E. Carter & Rev. Craig Carter
The congregation moved into a new church, built largely with help from church members and extended family on Elton Hills Drive.

ROCHESTER ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH 4240 18th Ave NW (1979 - 1995) Pastors: Rev. Craig Carter, Rev. Allen Lehman, Rev. Phil Shaw
The congregation moved from the Elton Hills location after 20 years. The new "earthen" or "berm" sanctuary was dedicated on December 12, 1979

The new sanctuary was dedicated on July 24, and we felt blessed that our congregation has been used to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ!
